In about four weeks I will be leaving on a jet plane to Music City, to participate in the American Association for Justice Nursing Home Damages Seminar.

Yes, I plan to attend the event but also have been asked to speak about Dementia patients, and pain.

It isn’t the easiest topic to talk about, or discuss because it is such a sad conversation to begin.

You are dealing with a loved one, someone who is no longer of sound mind, whose decline in memory and cognition is so great that a family can no longer provide sufficient and safe care at home.

And then, the person becomes injured, often because of negligence care or in many cases, little care.

And when families see their loved one who is unable to connect to those around them, but is still able to feel physical pain and suffering, a new kind of family struggle begins.

I love what I do.

I love the families I get to help.

I am heart broken when we start this conversation but grateful to be a part. So come to Nashville and join me.
