VETERANS ADMINISTRATION & MEDICAL MALPRACTICE 150 150 Lauren Ellerman

I hate to say it, but we are not providing our Veterans with the best care.

We hear cases all the time of men and women who have served our country, only to be injured by substandard medical care at our VA facilities, hospitals etc.

I have been writing about VA medical care for years – http://legalmedicine.blogspot.com/2009/10/veterans-administration-best-care.html.

We have successfully represented veterans against the VA for medical malpractice cases – http://legalmedicine.blogspot.com/2009/06/frith-law-firm-settles-lawsuit-against.html

But Veterans need to know a few things about the care they get:

1. You are allowed to seek medical care outside of the VA.
2. If you feel your care has been negligent, and you were caused injury – call an experienced attorney in the state where the facility is located, right away.
3. Because you are on federal property, being treated by federal employees, Med Mal cases are filed under the Federal Tort Claim Act which has very unique rules and requirements.

CALL as soon as you feel you have been injured.

The good news for veterans, is that by law, we must charge you less for these cases – 25% if settled prior to suit being filed. Normally, Medical Malpractice cases are 40%.

I am so sorry you are not welcomed home with the best. Let us know if you want to discuss your case.
