Do you think it would be criminal to shut down an assisted living facility leaving residents in the building without care?

Do you think it would be criminal to leave elderly patients in a facility and walk out as staff?

Do you think the management company should be held liable for such actions?

Listen to this story. If it doesn’t make you furious at the company, and inspired by these two men, I want to know how it made you feel.

There are heros in long term care facilities. Often times they work extra hours, underpaid, to do the best they can. But the companies often put them in an impossible position. Can you really take care of 30 acute care patients on 1 hall, by yourself for 11 hours?

Can you feed, bathe, turn, watch and care for 30 toddlers at the same time? Of course not.

Listen. We welcome your thoughts.
