I want to recommend a resource to those reading our blog and looking for a good resource on important information on America’s number one health issue – the abuse of the elderly. The National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) is a national resource for elder rights, law enforcement and legal professionals, public policy leaders, researchers, and the public. The NCEA’s mission is to promote understanding, knowledge sharing, and action on elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

The NCEA makes available news and resources, collaborates on research, provides consultation, education and training, identifies and provides information about promising practices and interventions, answers inquiries and requests for information, operates a listserve forum for professionals, and advises on program and policy development.

Check it out here.
