MEDICATION MISTAKES 150 150 Dan Frith

What happens if you get the wrong medication?
Wrong vaccine?
Wrong shot?
Wrong dose?
Wrong type of treatment?

One of two things happens. The mistake either (1) causes you harm (physical harm); (2) the mistake does not cause you harm.

We often see tragic results from preventable errors. The wrong vaccine or medication can cause an overdose or an allergic reaction. Some of these can be treated, and sadly, some cannot.

So what should you do if you or a loved one has been a victim of a medical error or mistake?

1. Ask yourself, were you injured?
2. If so, how long did it take the injury to resolve?

If it took more than 1 month to resolve, missed work, extra doctor visits, hospitalization etc – then you may have a Medical Malpractice case based on the error.

If it healed quickly, then under Virginia law, you would not have a case.

We are happy to evaluate whether you do have a case today. Call -540-985-0098,
