I am well aware that encouraging people (1) not to breach their non-compete agreements and or (2) not to engage in litigation will put me out of business. I am also aware that the more people breach their agreements – the more my services are needed. But, talk to one person who is faced with attorneys fees, depositions, and the emotional stress of litigation and I think they may tell you – IT WAS NOT WORTH IT.
So, my FREE advice:
1. don’t sign a non compete
(too late?)
2. don’t breach your non-compete
3. leave on good terms
4. try to get a buy out of your non-compete or a release…
