NON-COMPETE NOT LIMITED TO SALES 150 150 Lauren Ellerman

Some folks assume (incorrectly) that if they sign a non-compete, it doesn’t matter because they are in sales… and only the sales guys and gals can be legally bound to a non-compete.

This is not true.

The Janitor could have a non-compete.
The IT department probably has one.
The Marketing department definitely has one.

So please don’t assume only the sales guys have non-competes, and or yours is not valid because you are not in sales.

Yours may be valid. So call, and we can discuss. Just don’t call me from work, on their phone, or email me with your work email like this lady appears to be doing.
