I have heard many a family member say that the nursing home personnel promised dad or mom couldn’t get out of bed (or out of the facility) without activating the emergency alarms…only to later find out the nursing home was so understaffed that no one was available to hear the alarm or respond to it.

Here is an interesting, and tragic, story from Minnesota.

It happens everday here in Virginia.

It does not have to happen.
