LAWYER REFERRALS – WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? 150 150 Dan Frith

Often times, we get calls in our office and the prospective client will say “Lawyer Smith told me to call you.”

Now, there are many reasons why Lawyer Smith referred you to our office.

1. Perhaps Lawyer Smith does not do this kind of law (Medical malpractice) and knows that we do.

2. Perhaps Lawyer Smith knows you don’t have a case and didn’t want to tell you that – so instead, he referred you here. This happens often.

3. Perhaps Lawyer smith thinks you have a GREAT case and wants someone else to help him do the work.

Many attorneys will refer Medical Malpractice and Nursing home abuse cases to lawyers that specialize in this area.

So if they say call so and so – you should. Then you can find out whether it is worth pursuing.
