NURSING AIDE AT BRISTOL, VA NURSING HOME INDICTED 150 150 Dan Frith

This is disturbing news.

A grand jury has indicted James W. Wright (a nursing aide) on four counts of aggravated sexual battery following an investigation by the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia. The alleged abuse took place at the National HealthCare (NHC) nursing home in Bristol, Virginia. The Murfreesboro, Tennessee based NHC Corp., runs the Bristol nursing home as well as 75 others in Tennessee and other eastern states.

Nursing board documents show that seven NHC patients complained of being sexually assaulted while under Wright’s care.

The most disturbing part of this story is that other aides at the nursing home said the nursing home’s management routinely dismissed patient and nurse allegations against Wright.

Someone needs to be held accountable.
