TALK SHOW HOST GETS A SURPRISE! 150 150 Dan Frith

I just had to share this news report with our readers.

Ted Arneault was hosting a show live on KDKA-AM (1020) when he was served papers alleging that he was in violation of the non-compete clause of his contract with a former employer. MTR Gaming Group, based in West Virginia, claims that Arneault violated his non-compete when he became a shareholder of American Harness Tracks.

Mr. Arneault should have spoken with lawyers BEFORE going on the air and “thumbing his nose” at the non-compete agreement he signed with his previous employer.

My Take: Know the legal consequences of your actions before you make employment decisions which could be embarrassing and costly.
