Texas Court Strikes Down Surgeons’ Non-Compete Covenant because “the covenant must provide for a buyout of the covenant by the physician at a reasonable price or, at the option of either party, as determined by a mutually agreed upon arbitrator.”
wow. That is great for folks in Texas. But I don’t live in Texas. I don’t practice law in Texas. I don’t represent Texas employees.
Sadly, that is just not the law here in Virginia. Interesting yes, but not helpful.
Oh well, maybe the next time it will apply here in the Old Dominion.
