So this is one of those awkward posts where I write about myself, and sort of  do it in the third person. No illusions, we write our own blog and update our own website at Frith & Ellerman so there is no one to broadcast this exciting news but me, so here it goes.

I could write Lauren Ellerman speaks at two National Conferences on Nursing Home Litigation. But, you would then see that I posted the blog, as my photo and email appear below. That is where the awkward first person / third person part comes in, so let’s cut to the chase.

I have been asked to speak next week at the NJ / NY and PA Trial lawyers Conference in Atlantic City. I have been asked to give a presentation on Defense Myths in Nursing Home litigation to their long-term care group, and I am thrilled to meet new friends from the Mid-Atlantic.

Then in May, I have been asked to give a presentation to the American Association for Justice Annual Long Term Care Conference in Nashville on Pain and Dementia in nursing home patients.

So why share this good news? Why does anyone but my husband (who has to be super dad while I am away) care?

I hope clients, potential future clients and referring attorneys care that our office travels across the East Coast meeting with, speaking to and learning from other attorneys who specialize in this kind of work.

Maybe a future client will care or appreciate that we do want to be the best that we can be at representing families against Virginia long term care facilities.

Maybe no one cares but me, and frankly I am ok with that.  I am honored and excited to meet new friends fighting for the same kind of accountability, and hopefully, we can learn something from each other.
